The Tracer lets you choose between 5.5 and 6 inches of rear travel and boasts the newest incarnation of the lauded VPP (Virtual Pivot Point) design. This next-generation VPP continues to stick your rear wheel to the trail like glue, max out its traction during climbs and provide a plush, smooth ride on the down, but now it also minimizes chain growth by 15-20%, increases lateral stiffness, and decreases the difficulty and frequency of required maintenance. The beautifully CNC-machined frame sports a hydroformed top tube that provides loads of standover clearance, and the head tube can be fitted with an XC-friendly 1.25-inch headset or a more aggressive 1.5-inch headset if you prefer.
